hey Reader,
We all spend too much time on email (and our devices in general). So I want to give you something today that’s easy to read and actually a good spend on time. Ready?
Awesome.
- In a Delphi consensus from international research experts, there's been a conclusion that stretching after a workout isn't necessarily effective as a cool-down to treat muscle soreness, but can offer a psychological value.
- I've really been diving into fascial stretch therapy on the in-person side, and seeing how it can translate to the online side of things so you can get in on it too!
- I made a post breaking down an opinion piece that came out from some well-renowned neuroscientists in response to the idea that the body (literally) holds trauma. It's been going semi-viral, check it out and let me know your thoughts.
- You don't need an hour, or even 30 minutes of movement right now if it feels like too much. Start small, think 1 minute movements. Build up from there.
- I (try to) do weekly check-ins on my Instagram stories, so we can see how our bodies are feeling, what we need, and just a moment to reflect. Come do this week's check-in!
- I have a plan to do some more Youtube videos this summer! Let me know if you're looking for something specific.
Okay. That’s all for this week. Thanks for letting me email you every week. It brings me so much joy to share with you. Hit reply if you need anything. I’m around.
Cheering for you, Vera
